I spend a LOT of time drinking tea and coffee (also a proper coffee snob) , so it felt like a very natural progression to start creating illustrated mugs. The actual idea grew out of being completely penniless one Christmas and unable to afford presents for family and friends, so to save money I handpainted mugs. I didn't really imagine that it would go much further than this but the idea started to snowball and I very quickly realised that handpainting mugs wasn't sustainable in terms of generating an income. So fast forward through lots of buiness mentor meetings , planning and HOURS of research and this printed range of Laura-Kate Draws mugs was born. I started with 3 designs and have now completely lost count of how many there's been over the years.
